Commercial Description:
The filtered bottle version of the 3.8% cask ale.
Note: This is not the beer that won Supreme Champion in 2003.
"Bottled with approximately 1/3rd less Carbon Dioxide than most beers. This results in a fresher more natural tasting beer. Combines Hallertau Hersbrücker with Challenger. Late hopped with Styrian Goldings, which gives a sharpness like the twist of a lemon."

Very nice brew.Color was golden ,aroma was very slightly malty sweet but mostly was hoppy as hell. The flavor was a hop lovers dream just a slight sweet malt to it some citrus lemon characteristic's with a powerful yet pleasant hop taste that was very easy to drink, with a finish that is citrusy and hoppy that lasts for a long time well worth the bucks to get this bad boy.or in this case if one wants to trade for them i might as well drink them.

Brillant gold in colour, with a most attractive white head. Fantastic flowery, hoppy aroma, but it doesn’t overpower...just sets the tastebuds tingling. A VERY well balanced, smooth palate( less CO2,see description) there is a lovely citrus edge to the finish. A wonderful brew... on draught in the Guildford Arms, off Princes Street, Edinburgh...had FAR too many pints there one night recently, pub is well worth a visit, if only for the architecture.. many other ales on draught, just don’t say you’ll be home early.

Ah yes. What an interesting beer. Very much a bitter, but kicked around a little with an extra citrus flavor. Really top shelf stuff. I absolutely can’t get enough of beers like this.

Great beer with notes of sun tea on the nose, light hops on the palate, and a crisp finish.

very very bitter. goes down though with a lemon taste? very odd brew. not bad, very pricey for a single bottle of this stuff. very smooth going down, sat well on the palate, hint of lemon at the start and then finished all lemon. a try again brew.

nic golden/amber color. very small white head that disipates quickly. Nice aroma of english hops, and citrus. Flavour is very very nice, loats of hops the goldings really come through, and i can really tatse that lemon twist. The hops in this beer are done perfectly, an immensely drinkable, and enjoyable beer. I can’t get enough of that citrus grapefruit hops punch in the flavour. Love it!

This beer has everything I like. It is very light, its malt is clean, its aroma is complex such that you can’t simply point to a particular hop or a particularly descriptor like "herbal". It has a decidedly lemon-like quality which pops up every now and again. I really admire how they packed such an enormous amount of flavor into such a light and low-alcohol beer. If only more beers were like this, I would be happy. That, and if this thing weren’t so damned expensive.
