swoopjones (1878), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 21, 2009 Cask @ Guilford Arms, Edinburgh. Orange yellow pour. long lasting white head. flavors of orange marmalade, herbal floralness & sweet malts. Creamy mouthfeel & easy drinking. good sm89walt (439), Canterbury, Kent, England Jul 13, 2009 Cask - The Cidershed, Norwich. Clear golden yellow, fine white head, flat looking body. Citrus fruit aromas and a touch of berry. Wood, and again berry & citrus on the tongue, with a weak bitter finish. Oddly watery palate texture with a short finish. I feel this underperformed - re-rate needed. dnas2 (627), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England Jul 3, 2009 Cask at The Maypole, Cambridge, Clear, dark gold in colour. Fruity citrus with berries and maybe a hint of banana in the nose. Watery, well balanced. In the mouth, very malty: wood, lots of oats and some berries. rabidbarfly (57), London, England Jun 18, 2009 keg at The Rake, citrus nose and uber citrus on the palate, straw colour to look at and just one fantastic beer every single time! HogTownHarry (3977), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada May 22, 2009 Cask. At The Rake, Borough Market. Admittedly, this was very near the bottom of the cask - it went off shortly after my pint. Cloudy orange pour with a very large fluffy off-white head. Pungent spicy/grassy aroma - lemon grass, to be exact - unexpected and very appealing; the dreg can be loverly. The taste ... erm ... not so much; started soapy, the waves of dry grass/floral bitterness, spicy, dry and overpowering. Incredibly thick mouthfeel for a Golden (again, bottom of the cask), not much carbonation, extremely spicy and dry - yeast for days, this really stayed on my tongue. Quite a ride - I loved it, frankly. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Apr 21, 2009

Maverick34 (693), New York, USA Apr 19, 2009 Casked from Cask & Barrel - Poured a hazy gold w/ medium head. A bit of fruit and some bitterness. ChainGangGuy (2544), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Apr 12, 2009 16 ounce pint - $6.00 at Trappeze Pub in Athens, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, straw-colored body with a foamy, white head.
Smell: Sharp, zesty aroma of lemons and grapefruits. A bit soapy.
Taste: Slight malt character of biscuit dough with no more than a light sweetness. What follows is a very strong, fairly citric, even zesty Meyer lemon and pine grapefruit tastes. Moderate hop bitterness. Final taste of sweetened lemon juice on the otherwise bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Not recommended. A bit like Lemon Pledge. Finishing off the pint was a long, grueling task.
