Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, straw-colored body with a foamy, white head.
Smell: Sharp, zesty aroma of lemons and grapefruits. A bit soapy.
Taste: Slight malt character of biscuit dough with no more than a light sweetness. What follows is a very strong, fairly citric, even zesty Meyer lemon and pine grapefruit tastes. Moderate hop bitterness. Final taste of sweetened lemon juice on the otherwise bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Not recommended. A bit like Lemon Pledge. Finishing off the pint was a long, grueling task. thedees (15), England

Pours hazy golden with white head.
Aroma is hoppy with a good lemon zest nose and light malts.
Taste, bitter with citronelle like palate. Piney hops. Finish was rather sweet with notes of honey blossom, but the emphasis remained on the biter side.
Really felt like drinking an acidic lemon lemonade with slight touch of malts. hughie (3074), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

Probably citric hop in the aroma, but a large dollop of butter drowned it, eventually settling into stodgy sweetness, like porage with golden syrup. Taste was just citrus with a sharp bitter finish. It was okay. downender (2629), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

Deep gold in colour with a lacy white head. Hoppy aroma of elderflowers, citrus fruit and pine, with a hint of summer fruits. Flavour began with some sweet fruit, before pine and grapefruit took over, finishing off with a decent bitter edge. An awful lot going on for the ABV. Excellent. yngwie (5000), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2008 Cask, half pint, at the Wharf, Aalborg. A clear, quite pale, golden beer with a minimal white head. Lots of tropical fruits on the nose, almost soapy, with pinecones and a malty hint. Fruity, citrusy and piney flavor with a pleasant bitterness coming stronger towards the finish. Some biscuity malts too. A refreshing, quaffable beer with a lovely hop profile, but unfortunately it gets quite boring. Prefer the bottled version. (081022) gunnfryd (3603), Kristiansand, Norway

Just ordered it on a whim, and i was very pleasantly surprised. This stuff is supremely drinkable, very tasty, and has an interesting flavor of hops. I’m loving this stuff, dare I say one of the first good hoppy beers i’ve sampled from over the pond!
