Jun 28, 2008 Cask at Macclesfield Beer Festival. Golden with a white head. Fruity (but the right amount without tasting like a tarts handbag) and hoppy. Nice finish for a bitter to my tastes. Enjoyed it.

Jun 21, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Fish Inn, Northampton. A golden coloured bitter with a whitish head. A nice hoppy aroma with orange and lemon citrus notes. Nice hops in the taste Fresh, fruity and tasty. I remember this back in 2003 and it’s still really good. One of the new wave of hoppy beers in the UK. Others have come and overtaken, but this is still really nice.

Jun 11, 2008 Cask at Cockney pub. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Grassy and hay-notes. Moderate bitter average finish. Watery palate. A little boring.

Jun 3, 2008 Cask, Halfway House, Edinburgh. Golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with a lorra fruit. Smooth, nectar like honeyish feel to it. Flavour is hoppy, lemon and grapefruit muscle in with some grassiness. Really good stuff.

May 21, 2008 Hand pulled at JDW/Lloyds Watford and JDW Hatch End, Harrow. Both pints were in perfect nick with white smooth head and pale yellow colour. Lovely citrus hop bitterness with perfect balancing maltiness. Good flavour for such a low gravity. The perfect session beer.

May 11, 2008 (Cask at Punavuoren Ahven on 2008-04-19) Almost clear and golden. Hops in nose. Very small white head. Light palate. Hop bitterness and some malts in taste. Lightly sweet. Dry bitter aftertaste. Clear bite of hops.

May 6, 2008 Light hazy glden colour with a thin white head. Light malty sweet aroma with hoppy piney and fruity notes. Hoppy, fruity flavor with notes of pine and grass.

Apr 25, 2008 Cask at the Brickskeller in Washington D.C. poured a clear golden color. Head was white with good retention. An impressive curtain of lace was left behind on the glass. Great looking beer. Very attractive aroma of grapefruity hops. The attraction didn’t go much further. Light bodied with a smooth mouth feel, as expected from the cask. The flavor was a bit flat and earthy. Cooked vegetables and earthy compost predominated. There was also a copper-ish metallic note. Imagine licking your fingers after sifting through a pile of old pennies. Yeah. Mild to moderate hop bitterness that peaked at about 4 out of 10. Sadly, this one had a lot of initial promise, but eventually fell flat on it’s face.
