Cask @ Cockney Pub (Aarhus). Pours a light hazy yellow with a little foamy head. Aroma is lightly bitter hops. A touch watery mouthfeel that gets better as it heats up. Taste is hoppy and fresh with a long aftertaste.

Cask at the Museum Tavern. Aroma of citrus hop. Copper color with whiteish head. Starts fruity with underlying malt. There is more fruit than just citrus. The malt is ever present, but the fruit tends to dominate. Finished with a very nice bitterness, a long dry bitter finish.

Gravity, Banbury Beer Festival. Pale yellow gold, big sticky layer of soapy white. Very high frequency tangerine aroma, a spicy bright yeast character that reminds me of Wyeast 1028 bubbling away happily. Bright peppery bitterness, light clean malt, a bit thin, but refreshing. A lovely hoppy summer ale.

[Cask at Little Thatched Hotel Glos.] When cool, hops prevail in the flavour, with a good but not excessive bitterness. Warming up, a malty character and some more body emerge, together with a clear and crisp lemony taste. Quite original and enjoyable.

Sampled at the Medway Beer Festival 2006 on 18/11/06 - I’m amazed I like this as I usually hate Scottish beers, most of them are crap! This ain’t, it’s a tasty little McBeer. Lager blond almost and very fruity and hoppy. A little bit like Summer Lightning, not quite that good. Nevertheless, well done sweaties - good beer!

Pale golden in colour with only a low level (ring) of foam This is a very well built beer that starts with a delicate hoppy and fresh floral aroma. The flavour is fruity, first you notice the grapefruit and then a good dash of lemon comes through. At the end there is a rounded taste of bitter hops. Easy drinkable and very moreish (Half on gravity in perfect condition at the firste day of The 11th St Albans Beer Festival 27.09.2006).

Cask/gravity at The St Albans Beer Festival 27 Sep 06. Clear golden coloured. A tiny head. Enormous aroma of fruit: Apricot. Refreshing fruity flavour with a bitter and sourish aftertaste with hints of grapefruit.
