Great Ale. Tasted on Cask in pub in Alva, close to the brewery. Maby this ale doesn’t travel, It was superb. Couldn’t recognise the ale from the one I had on bottle several times. Very nice flowery aroma, and especially the palate was like 5 seconds in heaven

Guildford Arms, Edinburgh( off princes Street) Fantastic!!! This pub has a vast range of ales and continental beers on draught, I found the Bitter & Twisted to be the best...hoppy and so satisfying, visit if you can!

keg at The Rake, citrus nose and uber citrus on the palate, straw colour to look at and just one fantastic beer every single time!

Clear golden and still, except with a 50% head, which is pretty. This has the aroma of celery which stuck around. The flavor is similarly like a fresh salad ... green and crisp, light and fruity. This would be an AWESOME summertime beer. God, I love beer..

Update: Must have this fresh. It loses its flavor very quickly. But fresh, it is tremendous. Pours the color of Heineken. The taste and aroma are singular--I could name some fruits, like pears and grapefruit, but that misses the point. This simply has to be drunk, as it is a style unto itself. The carbonation is low, but not nitrogen flat. The aroma is smoky fruit, as is the tast, with a soft, light round mouthfeel. Amazing how much flavor is packed into this light ale. Tremendous.

a beautiful hoppy beer, with fruits and zesty bitterness which explodes on the palate. the bottles are also worth seeking out as they have a notice of ’low carbonation’ in order to create a ’cask feel’.

citrus, bread, dough, medium bitterness, light sweetness, lightly sour, golden, clear, frothy, medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, long finish, .I’m a beginner at this, but this is the best beer I have had so far.I favor the lighter bodied beers at this point.I bought the last 3 beers the store had for sale.

A very nice light bitter. Floral aroma, the taste starts with bitter, floral hoppiness, and finishes with sweetish maltiness. I was pleasantly surprised by this beer.
