Jul 21, 2005 (cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Amber colour, large creamy head. Fresh aroma of citric fruit. Flavour of grapefruit and starfruit, hints of cookies and toffee. Bitter grapefruity finish.

Dark amber to brown. Unusually unhoppy/unflowery for a Harvie. Almost on the border to a brown ale to me, haven’t it been for the quite sharp and hoppy finish. Hints of chocolate and roasted barley.

Jun 29, 2005 Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Darkish amber. Citric, lightly roasty aroma. Sweet and fairly light bodied with rich grapefruity hop character. Bitter, lightly resiny finish. Good, but Harviestoun can do better.

Jun 16, 2005 Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Orange tinged brown, and small soapy head. Good fresh, grassy aroma. Silky mouthfeel, for a Bitter, a tinge of carbonation maybe. Hoppy flavour all the way throug, not overtly aggressive, just flavoursome, and holds to the finish. Slightly watery, slightly planty, but overall fresh and very refreshing. Good stuff.
