Unusually unhoppy/unflowery for a Harvie. Almost on the border to a brown ale to me, haven’t it been for the quite sharp and hoppy finish. Hints of chocolate and roasted barley. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

Sweet and fairly light bodied with rich grapefruity hop character. Bitter, lightly resiny finish. Good, but Harviestoun can do better. Good fresh, grassy aroma. Silky mouthfeel, for a Bitter, a tinge of carbonation maybe. Hoppy flavour all the way throug, not overtly aggressive, just flavoursome, and holds to the finish. Slightly watery, slightly planty, but overall fresh and very refreshing. Good stuff.
