Ooh and some condition. That’s a novelty for JDW. Straight forward bitter leafy hoppage with loads of grass and nettle notes. Excellent (if slightly perverse) hit of Amyl Nitrate in the aroma. Good biscuit malt base. Tasty bitter finish that is surprisingly dry. Hints of pepper and herbs round it off nicely. Enjoying this one. cgarvieuk (4198), Edinburgh, Scotland

Excellent nic from a newly tapped cask. Copper with a good beige long lived head. Hoppy aroma (rare for jock beer!) buiscity malt flavor with pleasently subtle burnt caramel notes. Some hop resins with crisp bitter finnish. I was thirsty after a cycle ride, but 3 of these slipped down very quickly! Excellent ale!
