Pale orange and slightly hazy. Rich perfumy aroma of grapefruit and apples. Sweet and light bodied. Rounded up front, but with rugged flowery bitter finish.

May 4, 2009 Cask handpull at The Hope Tap, JDW, Reading. Paleish gold, thick creeam head. Nettle hop blond beer. Quite harsh on finish. It’s an ok slightly sweaty beer, but very bitter hoppy finish, especially for the ABV, quite spicy.

Jul 5, 2009 A Mes rate. Cask handpull at Baker Street ‘Sporks.
Clean dark gold with a thin white head. Very bready with a slight hint of diacetyl giving it a wholemeal and butter character. Decent hops but they are just not supported well. Harviestoun can do a LOT better.

Aug 17, 2006 Aroma gives a serious citrus punch with some almost tangy notes. Taste is a bit it also very bitter very hoppy, serious sessionable beer for this time of year.
