Commercial Description:
Available in pasteurised bottle from Sainsburys.
This beer is a great accompaniment to haggis. It's brewed using pale and crystal malts and well hopped with Fuggles, East Kent Goldings and Styrian.

A lovely orange/gold colour with an excellent white head that lasts well down the glass...leaves a good lace too! Has that fantastic, well balanced hop ’n’ malt nose that I expect from Harviestoun beers, a bit lighter in body than expected but packed with smooth malt and fruity hop flavours, a slight sharp acidity appears on the finish...lovely! Didn’t have it with haggis tho!

Not much flavour in this one. Has some round and malty notes. Rather tasteless and weak. Sweet finish.

Bottle. Amber/gold with a small white head. Aromas are fresh pine and grapefruit with earthy hops and spices. Fairly sweet caramel malts. Flavours are spiced oranges and citrus with sweet grapefruit. Some caramel malts with nice peppery and bitter hops. Good stuff.

Toasted malt and caramel nose, some hops. Shimmering amber color, foamy head. Thin malt base gives way to a broad tingly bitter across the whole mouth. Somewhat bold overall and with character. Nice one.

Thanks a lot Chris! Pale copper color with a small frothy head on top. Medium alcohol, malt, caramel and molasses nose. Intense bitterness - grass and estragon in the taste -lasts long. Fizzy carbonation. Quite nice.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Nothing particularly special but a decent all rounder. Deleicate floral nose.Caramel and sweetish body followed by a crisp, dry and hoppy finish. Very downable and quite a satisfying brew.
