Dartford Fest. Gravity. Herby aroma. Mint. Nettles. A gentle herby flavour with a slight grassy bite in the finish. Pleasant.

Hoppy aroma, fruity flavour, nice body... uhm, sorry that’s the waitress ... sweet (the beer too). Nice hoppy, flowery aftertaste.

Cask Conditioned, at Hamilton Hall, London.
Cloudy orange coloured body with a detergent styled head (patchy froth). Crappy aroma, strong bitterness. Americans would die if they were handed this and told it was an IPA. It miles away from the hoppy style that they’re used to and quite frankly its crap beer regardless. Don’t care for the venue either.

(Tapped) Golden color with a medium head. Very original, spicy, fruity and hoppy aroma. Dry, hoppy spicy, very pleasant flavor. Medium-bodied, bitter palate with balanced carbonation. Very nice and spicy IPA, maybe could use some more bitterness.

Nice amber bodied brew has a good hoppy aroma and lots of hoppy bitterness in the flavour profile. This is an excellent example of an English IPA. I wish I had gotten to this one earlier in the year as I am left wondering if it might have been even better in the summer.

Bright, almost clear amber. Tan head. Lovely aroma of caramel, fruity hops, & orange marmalade. Thick, sticky palate. Good malt flavour of caramel, orange syrup & marmalade. Earthy hop finish. Good, subtle balance.
