Aug 30, 2007 Cask, Guildford Arms, Edinburgh, RBESG 07. Blonde, thin white lacing head. Grapefruity, pungent citrus aroma. Mouth is some hoppy grassness, bit watery. Finishes boring, watery and metallic. Quite good, apart from the end.

Cask handpull at the Guildford Arms. Gold colour with a decent creamy white head and lots of lace. Hoppy aroma with a little salt and pepper. Creamy malt flavour with lots of nutty and peppery notes. Bitter hoppy finish let down by some eggy sulphur. Tastes darker than it looks. Interesting but not amazing.

Aug 25, 2007 Cask handpull at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. Gold, lasting white head. Typical Harviestoun beer with good citrus flavours from the addition of (I’m guessing here) Liberty Hops. Good sherberty hoppy beer.
