Jun 7, 2008 From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and deep golden brown/amber with a bubbly off-white head. Solid hoppy and roasted malt aroma. Nice mix of roasted malt, liqourice and fruity hops. Has a solid lingering hops and liqourice flavour that keeps on going. Goes into a flavourful hoppy and bitter finish.

Jun 2, 2008 Cask in the eagle and child. Im guessing this is supposed to be a mild? Alround rating: Ruby malts, biscuity, grasst and bitter, no sweet character as id expect, passed me by and i didnt finish the half.

May 17, 2008 Cask, gravity, at 7th Devonshire Arms Beer Festival, Bedford. Not very pretty dark amber with a small off white head. Sweet and rather fruity aroma. Slightly ashy taste. Background bitterness. Didn’t get on too well with this one to be honest.
