Cask at the Gatehouse. Golden blonde with lots of lace. Citric and floral aroma. Plenty of hoppy character in the mouth with a lovely creamy texture. Slight lick of malt for some balance. Lovely dusty bitter finish. A pleasant surprise. harrisoni (6830), Ashford, Kent, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2007 Cask handpull at Knights Templar, JDW, Holborn. Pale gold, thin lasting white head. Slightly thin and ascetic, golden bitter. I was hoping this would be best of the lot and it isn’t. Yes, it has wheat, yes it has some harsh citrus hops. Good citrus beer, along the Harviestoun lines but lacks intensity and is a sub Oakham White Dwarf. ante (2965), Stockholm, Sweden

Clear golden, small creamy white head. Exotic yellow fruits in the nose with floral hop notes. Soft fruity and fresh flavour of pineapples and grapefruit. Light-bodied. Crisp hop-bitter finish. What a nice summer beer! imdownthepub (5175), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2003 Cask Conditioned at The Rose & Crown, Charlbury. Faint Lemony colour with white head. From the begining the flavour overcomes any doubts about the appearance, spicy lemon, apple, clove flavours. Refreshing late and fresh hop almost green in character a little oily perhaps but a very decent blonde beer.
