Aroma is very peaty with roasted malts, light vanilla, molasses, burnt wood and smoke. Taste is delicious! Smoke, burnt wood, light vanilla, peat, molasses, treacle and light scotch. Very tasty! Body is light-medium to medium with soft, almost faint carbonation feel on the tongue. Rather smooth overall. Light warmth as well. Ends with a bit less of the smokiness in it, more roasted malts, vanilla, wood and treacle. Can’t wait to try the 30! HonkeyBra (1264), Lemont, Illinois, USA Jan 3, 2009 Bottle 08997, from sept 2007. Taste resembles the nose and is smooth with a nice alcohol warming at the finish. This ale is very finicky to temperature, make sure not to try it to cold!
