33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, sweetness, vanille, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, chocolate, some whisky, light roasted notes, earthy liquorice root in the finish. Soft mouthfeel, low carbonation, medium bodied. This one was a bit too sweet IMO.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue and a light brown head. Aroma of whisky, wood, hard roasted malt and tar. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, hard roasted malt, wood and tar accents. No real bitterness. Delicious. 230809

(Bottled@home) Very dark brown with a small, beige head. Sweetish, very malty aroma with licorice, peat, and hints of tar and smoke. Licoricey-malty, sweetish, oaky and tarry flavor dries towards the end, with moderate ashy burnedness in the background. No alcoholic feel, but you can taste the whisky. Almost full body with soft and low carbonation. Another nice and smooth one in the series - even though the ashtray felt a bit too evident at first.

It is black with a red hue and a creamy, light brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, soot, smoke, wood and licorice. The flavor has sweetness and notes of roasted malt, soot, earth. Smoke, soy sauce, burnt wood, licorice, caramel and coffee. Very nice indeed!

330lm bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki)
Very porridgy malty aroma, very mellow whisky, only a touch of wood. Palate is a wonderful dry woodiness - very dry, some husks. A touch of vanilla, but the graininess is fairly prominent. No hint of 8%, I really could glug this. Dryness is the biggest component, but it isn’t past the level where one more sip satisfies more than it dries.
