Very small - almost absent - beige head. Close to being flat. Aroma of roasted malt, complex almost vinous with a raisiny touch. Lovely, dark lightly burned malty notes. Not too full-bodied with roasted malt, alcohol and licorice. Discreet, dry bitterness. Quite lovely. 020106 yespr (12414), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Pours like a quart of motor oil and has a thick, mocha colored head with sticky lacing. Aroma has hints of licorice, raisins, and molasses, very earthy. Flavor has the same qualities with a little bit of chocolate in the back end. Has some smoked, roasty notes in there as well. MiP (9159), Sønderborg, Denmark

Casked. Ruby red/black colour with small brown head. Aroma of roasted malts and strange sweetness. The sweetness also dominates the flavour and makes the otherwise so good beer rather unbalanced. I prefer the bottled version of this by far. (6 3 5 2 10) joergen (8635), Frederiksberg, Denmark
