Courtesy of juiceisloose. Pours a dark dark black. Has hints of heavy malts, licorice, oak, boozy, and vanilla spices. Finishes not to heavy on the palate. Has a semi-sweet flavor on the back end.

Pours deep dark brown with a moderate foamy/bubbly brown head. Strong malty aroma with lots of lactic chocolate and oaken vanilla notes. Flavor is lactic and creamy with nice oak/vanilla notes, followed by some smooth and warming peaty whiskey undertones, as well as just a hint of smokiness. Palate is full creamy, smooth, and lightly carbonated with a long finish. Hard to drink this one slowly. Delicious and well balanced, although a bit pricey, well worth it at least once.

Dark color. Smell of malt, coco, whiskey, oak, hops and minor caramel. Tastes the same but a little too watery. Still a nice beer.

Poured black with a tan fluffy head. Strong aroma of bourbon with some chocolate trying to get out. Very strong over the top bourbon flavor. Very harsh.

This beer is not black as some claim. If you put a Baaazillion candle power spot light behind it, you can see a bit of deep red. It also has a burnt milk colored head that stays nice an frothy. I like froth. Love the aroma. Mix of oatmeal, roasted nut and alcohol. This is really got a light palate for such a dark beer. Three distinct things come out in the flavor. Alcohol, bitter, licorice and Alcohol. I would bet if you rated this beer say......4 times, you wouldn’t go to work in the morning.

Pours dark brown/black, with a small, tan head. Aroma is very subtle. Chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is chocolate and roasted malt, with touches of smaoke and whiskey. Medium body. Nothing really special here, but not bad either.

Big thanks to SoLan for crackin this beauty of a beer. Pours brown-ish black with no head and a tan rim. Almost no lacing whatsoever. Nose is chocolate malt. Flavors include coffee, cocoa, teriyaki, and ribeye steak. Medium carbonation and full-body. Palate is thick and dense here, but satisfyingly balanced. Great beer.
