Pasteurised bottle. Export only for B. United International.
The regular Old Engine Oil has been filtered and pasteurised then left in single malt whiskey casks for six months. This allows the flavours of the beer to blend with the flavors of the whiskey.

Pours dark black with a small, bubbly brown head that quickly disappears. Engine oil indeed. Aroma is dark fruits with a little chocolate. Taste is fruity at the beginning then chocolate comes out. Pretty interesting flavor if not a strange combination. Did not notice any whisky characteristics.

The color is a stunning black with tawny port highlights. Begins on a rich, figgy, toasted malt note and moves quickly to toffee, port, roasted pecan, and lightly charred oak. The complex, bittersweet toffee note lingers for a good minute...and beyond. A "special" brew indeed...

(bottle)poured into a tulip. pours a thick dark black with thin tan head. smell is sweet and mouth watering with some mocha tint, has hints of whisky(was aged in malt whisky casks) at first but the deeper you smell it gets harder to notice the whisky. taste is slight mocha, light on the front and middle, bitter in the finish with the mocha aftertaste. this is a very good drink...

pours a very dark mahogany with a nice tan head. The aroma is very rich malty, hint of smoke, some whiskey, little oak and chocolate. The flavor is very sweet, with hints of caramel, raisens, chocolate, and coffee. whiskey has a pretty dominant presence with a nice smokey finish. This was my nightcap, and boy am I glad it was. I was planning on holding onto this for awhile, but its time came(damn drunken beer fridge raid)

Black. Smooth and sweet. A satisfying beer with good staying power. Malty and syrupy. Very good.

This beer pours a mirky almost stout like brown. The smell is smokey, but still balanced with a nut characteristic. I love the smell, as a big single malt fan this is my cup of, well, scotch. The taste is like a rauch beer sort of, it’s got a light bit of smoke and peat with a subtle raison sweetness that is the nly thing that remotely smacks of old ale. Still though, all in all this is fantastic, to heck with the nay sayers, I like this beer.

Bottle. Black, dark caramel foamy head. Aroma of black coffee, dark cocoa, then the finish of whiskey. Flavors blend the same. Medium body. Very drinkable.
