Pasteurised bottle. Export only for B. United International.
The regular Old Engine Oil has been filtered and pasteurised then left in single malt whiskey casks for six months. This allows the flavours of the beer to blend with the flavors of the whiskey.

If you like ports and bitter stoudts, this is your beer. Deep black color with very little carbonations. Tart taste reminds of a bad, cheap wine.

Bottle-2002 vintage from HWC: Almost pure black with burgandy hues and just a wisp of tan head. Aroma is wine like with dark fruit and a hint of whiskey. Flavor starts sweet burgandy with a touch of chocolate turning lightly tart and finishing kinda dry with some cherry tartness. Medium bodied, creamy, smooth , lightly carbonated.

pours a deep brown hue with a light tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, raisnins, prunes. Flavors of sweet/smokey, caramel, roasted malt and a little chocolate.....sexual chocolate at that.

Pours a black color with a small head and moderate amounts of lasting lacing. Aroma is strong and hot with hints of oak and whiskey. Flavor is really damn good, not to strong but appropriately warm with whiskey, chocolate and a slight malt hint in the flavor.

Tasted cask on Cockney Pub, Aarhus: No dominating aroma (roasted malt?) Little beige head. Black colour. Flavour: Roasted malt, smoked wood and chocolate. No carbonation. Slightly bitter finish. A little flat feeling yet enjoyable.

Pours jet black with as much head as one would expect from actual motor oil. Big nose of oak, whisky, licorice, and hot alcohol. Some diacetyl and a strange backing sweetness that almost smells artificial (it’s very faint, at least). The whisky flavor is overpowering up front, but then mellows out into excellence. The middle is smooth and chocolaty, and the finish is dry and oaky. If it weren’t for that bad beginning, it’d rival the Olde Suffolk.

Pours with a black body topped by a medium thick head with little lacing. It’s sweet, malty and fruity with lots of chocolate and roast, and slight oaky whiskey notes. Full bodied, creamy and smooth with a slight warming.
