Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available filtered in bottles.
A superb, rich, full-bodied beer derived from a 1970s homebrewing recipe. Wickedly smooth chocolate dominates the flavour, which is nicely balanced by the bitterness of the hops.

Bottle, 6%. Nicely bready, slightly roasted aroma. Black colour, small stable light brown head. The flavour is very nice, roasted and nutty, slightly sweet. Low carbonation, creamy mouthfeel.

Roasted dark chocolate aroma, roasted malty taste with some liquorice, some dryness in the end. Suprisingly light all things considered but very pleasant. There is a time and a place for beer like this.

Bottle. Rich black pour with a creamy head. Roasted malts, chocolate, leather. NIce bitter and fruity finish, aftertaste keeps lingering in the mouth really long. Seems to be really good everytime i try it.

Nice beer, I liked this one a lot... good balance of chocolate, anice and bittersweet coffee, pitch black, good texture, very smooth to light creamy. Really good beer and will have again sometime.
