Nov 5, 2007 Bottled (thanks cgarvieuk). Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is leather, fruity hoppy and also has some grass and wood in it. Flavour is really fruity with some grassy and flowery hints. Refreshing and fruity.

Golden color, small white head. Fruity (juicy lemon) aroma. Very fruity for British beer, fruity hops and sweetish citrus dominate the flavor. Late bitterness in the aftertaste. Tasty lager, more like an ale!

Oct 7, 2007 Bottle. Pours gold with foamy white head. Aroma is light and floral / fruity. Taste is grassy / sweet with bitter dryish finish. Not bad at all.

Aug 31, 2007 Bottle from Peckhams, Glasgow. Gold with thick white head. Without doubt the best cask conditioned lager in Britain. Even in a pasteurised bottle it is superb. The crispness of the Hersbrucker hops is good, slightly leafy. Lovely creamy hoppy herby aroma. Actually excellent. Bit of yeast on aroma, wheat gives it a wide mouthfeel.

Aug 30, 2007 Joebrew shared this at his Sunday BBQ via compliments of ChrisO when he visited the RBSG 07. Pours a semi-clear golden blonde brew with a thin white head that has quickly dissolves to a white ring and spotty lacing. Aroma of a light pilsener style beer, some light bready malt, citrus zest with some lemon. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with a light crisp bready malt flavor. Finish is light crisp and nearly clean with a mild bitterness. Pretty simple beer to me.

Aug 30, 2007 A tasty lager, I thought it was a bitter. Low carbonation and considerable malt as well as a lightly bitter flavor. There is a hint of lemon in the aroma, and a bitter finish.

Aug 28, 2007 Shared at Joebrew’s BBQ; courtesy of JK (and I believe ChrisO originally brought it over here). Gold color with no head. Slight aroma of sweet grains. Ditto on the flavor. Light floral and Earthy hops. Very nice and simple lager.
