Commercial Description:
Cask: Regular. The bottled version has a separate listing.
Brewed with lager malt and Hersbrücker and Challenger hops. Fermented with a lager yeast, but treated in every other way as a cask ale, save for a week or two of cool conditioning prior to release.
Named after the misty mountain near Pitlochry. Has won numerous awards as a cask conditioned beer, including three times gold winner at the Great British Beer Festival.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 4 Aug) Colour is golden yellow, with hints of amber, foamy white head. Nose is fruity with lemon and grapefruit. Hints of smoke? Taste is fruity with pineapple, lemon and a slightly soapy, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Nice and tasty.

Not sure whether this qualifies as a cask lager, or a blonde ale. Small white head, good lacing. Flowery nose, fruity taste. Bit lagery and harsh hoppy for me.

A deep golden honey coloured beer, likened to that of sweet white wine. Has a weak white head. A light, fruity aroma of citrusy hops with some malt towards the end. The taste is dry. bitter and hoppy. The hops give the flavour a zesty citrus, grapefruit like element, then the malt comes through, smooth and biscuity sweet. The finish is dry and hoppy.
