The aroma is lovely floral and fruity (mainly citrus) notes on herbal, grassy fondation. Light refreshing flavour with a certain betterness to balance the floral and fruity notes. Fresh but not lingering palate. Tasted cask conditioned on several occasions in Sweden joss (3671), Garching b. München, Germany

It has the typical hoppy nose of a really good cask conditioned ale and a fantastic complex palate. Only the colour seems to give it away. JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England

A worthy beer to be my 300th. Golden beer with citrus and tropical fruit aromas, carbonated in the mouth and a bit sherberty but it leads to a nice dry finish with nettle hop. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 19, 2006 A deep golden honey coloured beer, likened to that of sweet white wine. Has a weak white head. A light, fruity aroma of citrusy hops with some malt towards the end. The taste is dry. bitter and hoppy. The hops give the flavour a zesty citrus, grapefruit like element, then the malt comes through, smooth and biscuity sweet. The finish is dry and hoppy. Light straw colour, lovely fruity hop nose with clean malts and a complex palate. Dry, citrus aftertaste which lingers. Very little carbonation and served cool, which allows the full delicious flavour to come through. Carlsberg take note: this is DEFINITELY the best lager in the world.
