Cask conditioned @ New Bell Inn, Harwich. Red brown. Pleasant toasty malt flavours with light fruit and liquorice. Drinkable dry and easy going. A refreshing and well balanced mild.

A Mes rate: Cask at Chelmsford Beer Festival. Mid brown colour. Blandish aroma but it’s not too bad. Thought the same of the flavour initially but dig deeper and there is coffee and dark malt and some lovely vanilla sugar. More going on than first impressions would have you think.
