Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.
Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, smoke - ash. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090804]

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2009) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, roasted grain and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black coffee, chocolate and raisins. Rather thin body. Generous coffee bitterness in a dry finish. Very nice stout.
