draught at the Biertage 2008 - cloudy dark orange colour with almost no foam left; gentle notes of smoke and corn (a touch of wet wool? maybe...); moderate malt body; sweet; long smokey finish - not bad but one-dimensional

Apr 30, 2008 clearer orange -yellow colour, head is offwhite but dissapears speedy
smells smells smoky but not too strong and some malt and hops
tasts of malt,and a bit of bacon-smokyness and even a hidden citrus-sweet-sourness
aftertaste smoke but not more so bacon-like, more like burnt wood
