Brewed only for the American market.

Imported from the Bohemian town of Havlickuv Brod (90 km southeast of Prague). Havlicek Pilsner is the most popular style of beer brewed and consumed today in teh Czech Republic. Due to the history, tradition, and superior quality of their beer, the Czechs drink more beer per person than any other country in the world. Havlicek is an authentic ambassador produced with the finest Saas hops, soft artesian water, and local barley malt. Cheers!

Pours a straw colour with a rapidly diminishing bubbly head. Light aroma of malt and hops. Very thin mouthfeel and watery taste.

Bottle 500 ml
Appearance: Good looking gold like pils with bright white top, neat lace shown.4-
Nose :gentle aroma of quality pale malts and saaz hops.
Flavor/Palate : Clean , medium bodied brew. Fairly light , grainy in character with some faint dose of hops. Late bitter finish. All in together on paper looked better than in real life. Aroma promised more , ordinary in short. 11+/20

Bottle. The big bubbled head sticks around long enough. Aroma is nice and flowery. Taste has a nice sweet maltiness to it, along with a nice fresh hoppiness. Not bad at all.

(50cl bottle) Medium white head that mostly diminishes atop clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, bread/pastry, light spicy/earthy. Taste is medium sweet, spicy/grassy, bread/cereal. Finishes with some metallic. Light-medium body, some crispness.

Bottle: Pours a lucid golden with a fading white head. The aroma is a bit doughy, without enough hop character. The flavor is mildly sweet, but too sweet for the style in my opinion. The malt character seems a bit buttery, and there isn’t enough spicy hop presence, which I look for in Bohemian Pilsners. Not that good.

500 ML bottle. Pours a flat clear light gold. Little bit of head. Some malt & grassiness & hops. They’re selling this for 1.25 a bottle at the grocery store hre in manhattan, and is pretty decent with some complexity for the dollar, so really you can’t go wrong

500 ml. bottle. Poured gold and flat looking with a dissolving white head. Aroma of cereal malts, straw, grass and some honeysuckle. Flavor of straw, grass, and light cereal with some metallic notes. Very watery, however, which basically undermines any good qualities. The thin, watery body makes this a pretty poor example of the style.
