Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet. Taste is sweet with a slight hop flavor. Refreshing and pretty decent for a lager. Went well with the Indian food.

Oct 26, 2009 Haywards 5000 pours golden colored with minimal haze. The head is frothy and leaves rings of lacing. The aroma is strong in the odors of lager and corn adjuncts. It is thoroughly unpleasant. The flavor is full of chemically treated water and poorly integrated alcohol. The body is medium and the aftertaste reminds me of apples steeped in rubbing alcohol.
