Lightest color beer I’ve rated. Golden color, clearer than the tap water in some places. Smell of baking bread, one of the most interesting smells I’ve had in a beer. Tastes sweet and lemony. As you near the end, the sweetness fades. Not much of an aftertaste at all. Interesting beer.

Clear gold, minimal head and some lace. Nose is malt. Front is sweet, the top thin, the finish is acidic, dry, little hop presence, nothing to get excited about. Ranks #915 on my master beer list.

Not a great K-style example. Light fruit aroma, perhaps a slight spicy hop aroma but hard to detect. Pale gold with small head, no retention, weak lacing. Light malt, some tartness - creamy body but lacking flavor. Very little hops in the finish, makes it unbalanced in the end. After awhile, an unpleasant sourness developed that made me dump it.

Ohh, I love sixer sampler packs. This brew pours a very light clear straw. The average mostly lasting white head is very creamy, and has fair lacing. The clean fresh nose is toasted cereal, and light resinous hops. The flavor starts sweet, has almost no acidity, and has a long sweet nutty finish. This ale has deceptively full body (going on color) - I would say medium. The texture is light, creamy, and fizzy. The finish feels dry. This is a very interesting brew - I’m not sure what to think. If you like something different, this is definitely for you. Of course, I feel the Kolsch style defies convention description anyway.

The best of a very poor microbrewer’s varieties. Slightly hoppy, slightly fruity. Very under-carbonated.

Nothing special or memorable here.

Not a whole lot of flavor. Has an ok hoppy-carbonated finish. I am glad I tried this as part of a sampler.
