Commercial Description:
This smooth chewy stout has been served along with a filet of tuna coated with a bing-cherry soy dressing as an appetizer, has been seen along Breckenridge's Riverwalk washing down a rich chocolate cake, has been used to make a sweet spice cake, and is, of course, enjoyed just as it is in the pubs along the front range of the Rockies.

Very dark colored, brownish black. Pretty unique beer. Roasted chocolate malt flavors here, of course, and an almost grainy texture. Sharp hop finish. Would definitely benefit from a thicker consistency, however, and perhaps a tad more complexity.

A bad beer. Pours out thin and the weak head dissapates quickly (though not due to any excessive alcohol). It has an unfermented palate--a raw, wet grain flavor that reminds me of postum. No zip, syrupy and yet thin (nice trick). Avoid it.

the best berger I’ve had, but that’s not saying a lot. Very flat, but a good chocolate flavor.

Not too heavy. To me, the chocolate flavor was sort of subtle. This is not bad though since I prefer a more crisp stout. I would buy this again.

nice chocolate nose. alcohol notes. Dark Black, head leaves quick with no lace. lots of chocolate, slightly bitter, low to moderate carbonation.

I don’t know why people like this beer I thought it was basically Budweiser with some chocolate flavor. Nothing special in my opinion.

A decent brew, not really any head to speak off and quite thin for a stout, but overall much better than their other offerings

A pretty good chocolate stout. Nice chocolaty aroma. Not the best chocolate stout I have had.
