Commercial Description:
Noted for its golden color and mellow, delicate flavor, Kolsch is a style of beer originating in the German city of Koln. H.C. Berger uses pure Colorado Mountain Water to brew this soft ale, which bears a slightly fruity palate and a dry, hoppy finish. Kolsch goes splendidly with grilled whitefish, salmon, or delicate Thai or Vietnamese-inspired foods.

Picked this up at random at the local shop where it occupied the back of a shelf. Decent reddish color with a thin head. Flavor is a bland malt feel with somewhat strong crispness. Could be better, but it could be fresher.

A good, easy to drink intro to the style. Good clean hops with the expected fruit finish.
