Smells like corn and other adjuncts. A tiny bit of yeast is behind that corny nose.
A little bit of that corny flavor with a hint of yeast in the flavor. Very thin and bland..
Smooth on the palate but had an odd mouthfeel.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 19, 2003 Pale straw color, small white head that faded super fast.Wheat aroma maybe a mild malt presence, mild hops maybe a slight spice to it along with a mild fruit accent.Very mild taste, mild malt, mild wheat with a sweetness to it.the fruit doesn't really come through to well, the same with the hops. The after taste is mild at best with a definate sweet tone that is mostly malt and maybe citrusy the feel is like water.I don't know but this brew almost seems to try to be a lot of different styles but doesn't quite fit anything other then a wheat beer IMO.A nice brew to try once but not worth having any more then that. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 29, 2003 I tried the "Summer Edition" (the snowman is dressed for summer - get it?). Pours a light golden color with a weak white head. Aroma is very light hops and a little fruit. Light bodied with mostly sweet fruit flavors and a mild hops presence. Slight citrus finish. Overall this beer is below average. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 15, 2002 No head over a medium gold body. With a name like snowman, I wasn’t expecting this. If it wasn’t a wheat beer, I’d be surprised. Fairly crisp, but low esters, although some slight fruitiness. maybe this is a mislabeled summer beer. A lot like Sierra Nevada Wheat without the overbalanced hops. Which makes this a little better I guess, but it’s still bland and uninspiring. Suttree (2740), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 13, 2002 Buy a bunch of your favorite winter seasonals - OSA, Our Special Ale, heck, even Old Fezz - and try this one. What the Hell? Winter seasonal? I try not be one of those raters who gets hung up on style categories, but even judging this on its own merits as a Blond Ale it comes across as bland with no outstanding characteristics. This strikes me as beer dreamt up in the marketing department. kyzr (1127), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 16, 2002 Very light beer, I did like the light hop undertones though. Still would like more hops and give it a little more malt flavor. gbzia (195), Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, USA
