Commercial Description:
Brewed with 50% malted wheat, this is an essentially crisp refreshing beer, while still retaining a hearty malt flavor with a slightly sweet, slight (not bitter) hoppy finish. Whistlepin Wheat won the Silver Medal at the 1994 Great American Beer Festival. It is a summer favorite with a slice of lemon.

12oz bottle-A nice tasting American wheat with no overpowering flavors. Not trying to be something it wasn’t.

Nice full wheat beer with good malt. Not any frills. Very solid if not terribly special beer. Atypical of the style. I guess that is why I like it.

Soft, sweet, and caramely. Finishes light, although a little cloying. You’ll have to add your own lemon wedge too - no lemon, orange, or coriander was very detectable.
