Pour was modest with little carbonation and little head. The nose was ripe and lush, with candy apple goodness and some clove-like spice. Flvaor was right on, matching the aroma, and featuring the belgian yeast and some spice. Body was a little thin for the style, and the finish was non-descript. Paler than I expected -- a blond, almost. Good spice to it, but underly complex yeast profile. Way to tame for me to think of as a Grand Cru, but at least they’re trying. Keep it up. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

A cloudy amerish color. Lots of spices, peppercorn coriander and some zest on the nose. Thick full body, lots of alcohol, weird rubber powder from the inside of hospital gloves tastes too. damm, much much respect to hearland for having the balls to brew something most people wouldnt like. this rules, well, rules for what i drank in nyc notalush (2676), Denver, Colorado, USA

Aroma is leather and mango. The taste is sweet apricot, honey and smoky burnt leaves. Lively, effervescent mouthfeel. Finish is clean and slightly sweet. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Intoxicates you from deep down outward. You can feel the strength. Slightly reminded me of the "rust" flavor advertised for Concord Rapscallion Blessing.
