| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Dec 4, 2009 On tap in USA. Orange yellow color, little head. Corn aroma. Hoppy un natrual corn sweet sticky taste. Palate is as the taste is light. This is the typical American Ice Cream flavored brewery stuff. Not good at all. BillKismet (1952), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Golden bodied, lightly carbonated, and with a light cream head. Mellowed grains and hint of corn odor. Corn and cereal grain flavor, pretty standard for an A.M. lager. Light tannic sourness. zdk (251), New York, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 9, 2009 Tap: a craft take on a macro lager. They could have done a much better job. Light flavor and not much arouma to this beer. The corn adjunct really comes through, and it’s not very pleasant. Finishes with a weird astringent puckering mouthfeel. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2009 sample: no surprises here... light copper pour, thin head ring. Very dry and crisp, refreshing especially against the jalepenos I was eating. Honestly forgettable... blipp (1716), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 30, 2009 Draft. Pours clear gold with a white head. Light aroma, maybe a malty hint. Light, clean flavor with some malty grainy hints. Decent, a good example of the pale lager style. BREWMUSKCLES (1087), New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2009 it is a nice golden lager that is full of flavor. corn and bitter it is well presented in a refreshing brew with substantive body. a touch of sweetness balances this out some and it is a brew we all have had many times before...just seems to me it scores well in all the areas that we rate beer for and for that reason it is worth a try. mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 24, 2009 On tap at Heartland in Union Square with Dan Park.
Heartland Cornhusker Lager is another failed attempt at a variation of a classic beer. This pale lager is of a lesser quality than Miller Lite, with a lack of consistency that can be expected from a micro brew.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 19, 2009 Orange gold color, white head. The aroma is malty, corny, earthy, toasted malts, orange peel. The flavor is same as the aroma, earthy, malty, adjuncts like corn. The finish is slighly bittered by hops, but is otherwise unremarkable. medium mouthfeel. Not good.
