tgncc (296), Bellmore, New York, USA Oct 3, 2008 Aroma is malty sweet, cereal grains, molasses. The appearance is a very nice brown/black, tan head. The flavor is like many porters, roasty, sweet. The mouthfeel is thick. The finish is malty/sweet, with a slight hop deficit. Nice porter overall. tupalev (2311), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 5, 2008 On tap at the Empire State Building Location. Great name. Mild aroma, some molasses, touch of honey. Great appearance, pitch black, big thick just off white head, looked almost exactly like the pint of Farmer John’s beside it. Great taste - solid silky sweet porter taste, lots of molasses, yet a honey crispness to the body which was very interesting. A solid and unique porter creation, nice job. jerohen (1478), Bussum, Netherlands Mar 17, 2007 On draft at Empire State Location. Very dark appearance, small brown head. Dry, chocolate malts, molasses. Quite ok. DJMonarch (4091), Northwich, Cheshire, England Mar 14, 2006 Barrel Draught from the jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 30/09/2005
