Bottle from kingdom Liquors. Poured a clear copper color with an average off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good aroma of honey, dough and earthy. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a complex sweet finish of medium duration. Interesting complex brew.

Bottle shared by Justin: Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a clingy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of slightly oaked grassy horseblanket and tart cherries with a touch of sweet pale malt. Starts with an earthy grassy funk and pale malty sweetness with some light peaty smoke and fruity tartness with a touch of butter toward the finish. Pretty unique with a lot of funky tartness and sour fruity oak.

Bottle 0838. Almost clear gold color with a thin head. Very light whisky aroma. Hints of heather. Floral taste, both of heather and some light hopping. Sweet grains. Light, sweet whisky. Even after warming up past cellar temp, it never really seemed to jump out. The heather and whisky seemed to have canceled each other.

Bottle Shared at Ryan & Max’s Tasting @ Pauls. Pours a golden copper body with a white head. Woody spicy cinnamon notes, sherry, Shirley temple, ginger ale. A light mint note a strong alcohol warming, i really liked this boozy beer.

Sampled from a 0.75 L corked bottle@Cardinal, Stavanger. A brilliant, copper colored beer with a coarse, mediumsized, blond foamy head on top. Fruity, vinous aroma, both sweet and kind of tart. Faint caramel, spices, vanilla, and a distinct alcohol smell. Thinnish malt body, lightly sweet, also with a certain acidity. There is fine fruitiness there, too. Caramel, some herbal notes, and an alcohol sting all the way throughout. Surpringsly light-bodied. Dry, warming ending.

Bottle at Paul’s tasting. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Sweet heather, hay, whisky. Slightly astringent sourness, almost plastic flavor. Tough to drink. Finishes up with some lingering booze notes. Way too hot.

Bottle: almost clear, light amber coloured, small lacy white head dry fruity sherry and/or balsamico-like nose with a mouldy touch, vanilla and caramel detectable in the background; solid dry bitter-sweet and sour flavour, medium bodied; increasing dry acidity with traces of sherry, malt, balsamico and belgian sour-ales. A fine, extremely well drinkable, but complex hybrid brew........

750ml bottle shared at the DC Local tasting. Pours a hazy orange with an active white head. Heavy carbonation. Smells like a gueze, acidic, sweet, tart, herbal, perfume. Flavor was not at all what I expected, sweet, tart, honey, grass, herbs, medicinal. Finish was a little hot and dry.
