turbo (1254), Arizona, USA Jan 26, 2008 Poured a dirty caramel color with the aroma and flavor of sweet mallts, flowers, yeast, caramel and wheat.
Not bad. pforei (338), USA Jan 24, 2008 Straw gold color with small head. Malty/caramel/honey, herbal/floral, and gourd/pumpkin aroma. Spicy/galangal note apparent upon taste. Body is thin. I guess life before hops wasn’t that bad. WillieV (191), Maryland, USA Jan 22, 2008 12oz bottle: Poured a light brown with a quickly dissipating white head. Tastes a bit watered down. Mild finish. Doesn’t really make you want to come back for more. MrRain (415), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA Jan 21, 2008 I saw all of the good comments and had to add my own. It smelled great, it looked great, it tasted like a flower. That’s not a compliment. The after-taste just about killed me. I hated this beer. Maybe it’s heather beers in general. It’s the only one I’ve ever had. fakepurseninja (773), Washington, USA Jan 20, 2008 Light, straw body with a medium malt body that is suprisingly rich and full of character. Some sweet fruit essence. Slightly grassy and flowery with a nice sweet finish. Suprisingly refreshing and satisfying. As always, like the bottle art - adds to the experience. Scauca (408), Lovere, Italy Jan 16, 2008 Very light golden colour with a rocky thick white head. Flowery, sweet, bit spicy. Didn’t like it. DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England Jan 15, 2008 Nose of herbs, spices and other vegetation gives this beer a wonderful bouquet surpassing many other beers for its sheer distinctiveness. Pours a golden colour beer with a small head. Taste is hoppy, with herbs and spcies (must be the heather) being present. Not much malt is present. All in all another really enjoyable beer from Williams. JohnBarleycorn (390), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 11, 2008 Bottle. Bright gold appearance. Mild spice could make the aroma profile a distant second-cousin to a wheat beer. However, this is much soapier than a wheat, with a sharp floral quality that builds as you head towards the finish. Sort of like getting a mouthful of shampoo while rinsing your hair in the shower. No sodium laureth sulphate on the ingredients list – and that’s the best thing you can say about this one.
