| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2007 The claimed sweet gale and flowering heather give this a pronounced floral and perfume aroma. Mineral water aspect. A bit of the butterscotch flavor so common in scottish ales but orange, pear flavors lighten it and white grape give it a vinous aspect. A bit too sweet but finish is sort of dry. damienv10 (108), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 7, 2007 Light and clear golden orange with a small white head. The nose surprisingly barnyardy with just a hint of fruit malt. Very inconspciuous nose. Fairly flat on the palate with just a hint of carbonation. The flavors are very different from most beers I’ve tried. Roasted nuts, rose, lemon, and coriander. Not bad, but I probably won’t purchase again. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 4, 2007 500. Pours dark straw color with a moderate white suday head. Light floral and grassy nose with some sweat in there. Decent lace on the way down. Soft carb, lightish body, clean sweet flavors of grass and floral and hay, maybe very faint lemon. This is a fairly nondescript beer that my sweet spots for whatever reason determine to be a perfect food accompaniment. It’s not too awfully much as a sipper or a quaffer, but it just happens to seem perfect next to a plate of grub, especially outside. I can’t even explain it, because I don’t think it’s all that special, but it works, so I go with it. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore

Interesting brew this, I picked up floral notes, some bitterness and an overall ’oddness’. Glad I had it but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink it again. Still, the utmost respect for these brewers. Ramenen (453), San Salvador, El Salvador
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 23, 2007 Thanks to beer buddy ghawener. A very different ale from what I had tasted before. A very mild ale and all flavors were subtle, very different from the powerful ales produced today. I would say my palate is accostumed to richer flavors. marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Sweet malty aroma with hay, citrus, and honey accents. Orange amber color with a tan bubbly head of moderate duration. Flavor is flowery and sweet at first and then moves toward bitterness. Honey and spice flavors with a tea like quality. Lightly creamy in the mouth perhaps a bit thin with a lightly dry finish. Moderate carbonation. Notably good on the aroma and flavor. BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Picked this up at ABC. Seem’s that ABC has grown up a bit. Much better selection of micros. Pourd this into a cloudy brownish urine colour. Taste was offensive at first but mellowed out into a nice pubalesessioner. Nose is sweet malts and caramel, and sugar scotch-e. Taste warms up into sweet malts, honey, peat and a mild roasted flavour. Not too hoppy though. Soe citric flavours, but the sweet malty and barely _ness of it is very enjoyable.
