Thin malty aroma with a trace of hops. Flavor is sort of bland with some malts again and not much else distinctive. Rather creamy and coating in the mouth. Finish is slightly dry with some hops presence. An ok smooth light ale. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2003 Interestingly malty beer, lagerish as some have mentioned. Aroma is indeed flowery. Golden and nearly clear with a lasting head, this ale is unassuming. I'm getting a slipperyish, soapy body, not too thin (but darn close), kind of like a good bohemian pilsner. Not in taste, however; this has got sourish malty bits and a little citus, perhaps from the flowers, I dunno. Cool and refreshing. rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 15, 2005 Hazy amber-golden hue, with a some small chuncks of yeast, and a shy foamy head, with a floral herbs character, heather aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a spicy, heather and medicinal herbs note, sweet caramelized malt, leading towards a fruity, faintly acidic finish. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 14, 2005 Pours a subdued orangish yellow. Aromas of semi-sweet floral, smoke, and earthy notes. Flavor is honey like with a dandelion like floral tart. Not to bad, but I expected more. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2004 Golden amber. Crystal clear. Quickly dissipating white
head. Musky aroma, some apple hints, nectar. Peat. Medium body with some texture. Good flavor. Absence of hops is appealing. Something different and good. thornecb (1799), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2006 Pours amber into a shaker. Head from agressive pour quickly recedes to skim surface. Floral aromas. Flat with front to back bread and hay. Nothing redeeming - but not a drain pour - finished because I knew I wasn’t going to get my money back. Geiserich (1790), Vienna, Austria
