Jun 20, 2007 Sweet malty aroma with hay, citrus, and honey accents. Orange amber color with a tan bubbly head of moderate duration. Flavor is flowery and sweet at first and then moves toward bitterness. Honey and spice flavors with a tea like quality. Lightly creamy in the mouth perhaps a bit thin with a lightly dry finish. Moderate carbonation. Notably good on the aroma and flavor.

May 25, 2008 Bottle- pours golden amber with white head. clears awa quite fast. nose is spicy. heather, honey, quite tasty not too sweet, with a spicy hop infused finish. nice.

Oct 6, 2007 light orange gold color with a small creamy head. citric flower aroma with a light graininess to it. thin creamy body. honey malt comes out in the flavor with some acidic flowers and herbs. havent had many traditional ales so didnt really know what to expect. drinks like a very floral, light pale ale

Bold orange, thin head. Spicy aroma. Also a spicy taste, like Abbeye de Rocs - very malty. Almost sage-like stuffing taste. Maybe a little sweet, but thoroughly tasty.

Oct 17, 2008 500 mL bottle poured into a mug. Slightly hazed goldenrod color with a very weak off-white head. Even with vigor this beer produces hardly any foam, and what little is there collapses within a minute.
Aroma strikes of rosemary and doughy malt. Reminds me precisely of rosemary sourdough bread dipped in olive oil.
Lightly malty with a honey sweetness and a dose of semi-bitter rosemary. Well-balanced.
Carbonation is moderate, body is medium-thin, finish is bone dry and short.
Quite drinkable but lacks complexity and doesn’t keep my interest very long.

Aug 11, 2008 Aroma is sweet matls, with scant detectable hops, sweet fruits, suggesting berries, and figs. It’s color is a golden translucent color, akin to a cider, with a thin white collar. It’s flavor is a light sweet fruit and malt, with berries. The palate is like a champagne, light dry, w/ moderate effervescence.

Jun 3, 2009 Aroma of sweet malt and honey. Pours cloudy dark yellow with a head that completely disappears. Flavor is spice, a little citrus, grassy bitterness, honey, all over a malt backbone. Interesting beer.

Jun 6, 2007 Nose of alcohol, slight scotch note from the herbs and earthiness of it. Sweet up front with a good balance to it, very spicy and dry. Pours cloudy amber with a tall white head.
