| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 14, 2006 Bottled. Cloudy golden / orange with no head. Aroma is gooseberry (suprisingly!) and very flowery. As would be expected from the fruit, this is sharp and not sweet, yet not bitter either. Good on the palate - alive without being fizzy. Pleasent and good for a larger. HazelRah (276), Summerland, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 13, 2006 Pours a honey blonde colour with a caramel and honey aroma. Flowery, sweet, vaguely cidery flavour. Something extra too, guess that’s gooseberry. No hops to speak of. iowaherkeye (1858), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 9, 2006 11.2oz bottle, best before end of April 2007. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of sour fruits, yeast and some wheat. Taste is tart up front with some wheat and a little bitterness. Dry finish. I haven’t had gooseberries since I was 10, so I can’t say I can pick them out in this beer--maybe that’s where the tartness is coming from. Watery and fizzy mouthfeel. Not bad, not great, won’t be getting again. Bilzmoude (19), Ferndale, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 26, 2006 Figgy and smokey aroma. Malty, clear color. Losts its head very quickly. Malty flavor, and slightly fruity. Not a lot of carbonation. I would not buy this again. Not a huge wheat flavor. Fin (3421), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
