Maple, malty grain, nutty, cereal aroma that is enjoyable. The flavor is similar to the aroma with malty, grainy, cereal flavors with hints of molasses. There’s seaweed in here?? Medium semi-creamy body. Drinkable. There is nothing particularly wrong with this brew. It’s a novelty, though you would never know there was seaweed in there. TaxiDriver (944), Stadland, Germany
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Bottle. Dark malt, a little bit of chocolate and coffee. Average creamy brown head, dark body. Moderate bitter start and finish, average duration. Medium body, dry and creamy texture, soft carbonation, light metallic finish. Not bad, but a strange aftertaste, maybe it’s the seaweed... jjuf1853 (480), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2008 Bottle pours a very dark, near black color with a medium foamy tan head. Good lacing on the glass. Lots of chocolate in the aroma and some roasted malt. Very interesting flavor that includes coffee, and bittersweet chocolate with sort of a slightly sweet pipe tobacco aftertaste. Very smooth and creamy. kiefdog (1631), Tampa, Florida, USA

Had a distinct taste - malty, slighly sour and salty. Very easy to drink and enjoy. Jonte (827), Gothenburg, Sweden
