Aroma is bordeux, bourbon and oak, vanilla, caramel and maple, brown sugar malt (cookie, meal) and yeast (earth). Sweet flavor, caramel and brown sugar, cookie malt and wood, doughy yeast, fragrant sweet bourbon, non-offensive, maple and chocolate notes at the end. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively/soft carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic.

Beer is hazy medium gold-brown color with a small, white, nealy totally diminishing head. The aroma is quite nice: Malty with a light note of toasted grain, caramel; Hoppy with moderate, floral and herbal note, light note of resin/pine, lemon zest; Yeasty with a light note of savory sourdough; Moderate note of alcohol, burbon, light notes of vanilla, oak, sweet stone fruit. The flavor is heavily sweet, moderately bitter with a long, warm, lightly acidic, moderately bittersweet finish. ABV is almost entirely cloaked. Aroma is mint almost like toothpaste, slight vegetables, ethanol. Taste is big malts, lots of interesting spicy notes (cinnimon, etc). Lingering mint. Doughy, fresh cookies. Catching just a hint of bourbon on the finish. Alcohol is very well hidden, wow. Nice complex and approachable barleywine.
