| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2005 Good hazy orange color with a thin little layer of foam on top. The aroma isnt as murky and earthy as other farmhouse beers I’ve tasted, but this one will do fine. Sweet notes come through first, orange, and pear, then then a light spice, then some more musky notes, which has some cheese notes in there. Flavor is a nice blend of some smooth sweetness and light leafy earthy feel. I don’t mean this to sound bad, but it does have that sort of compost earthy flavor. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany

Medium spicey, pepper and koriander in the middle, but before and after a refreshing silky grape and ligth sweet taste. 11026 (1772), Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 6, 2005 Bottle from Eyedrinkale. Hazy, medium amber in color with a nice whie head. Aroma is somewhat muted with light malts being predominant to me and slight notes of spice. Flavor is sweet and malty, I am missing on the spice here. Alcohol detectable. Decent, a bit sweet. Would have liked a bit dryer finish. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

Beautiful appearance, I’m told rumours it was even more beautiful when poured. Looks like a great end of day beer. Sidenote: is it just me, or is the nutmeg taste super-prevalent in thick, herbal tasting beers? An excellent biere. Thanks also to Jine for sharing the bottle with me. This poured fantastically into the glasses and looked like the ambrosia of the gods. Which it is. I would drink a bottle of this a day if I could get my hands on enough desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
