The aroma is sweet spicy - with coriander standing out. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, overripe oranges, and spices - coriander being most dominant. The best Biere de Garde I’ve ever had. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 14, 2006 (Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy orangey golden with a creamy, off-white head. Spicy, peppery nose. Medium, dry body with a wee touch of honey and then some fantastic spicy notes that I cannot really pin out - thyme perhaps, or ginger? Dry but not overly hoppy finish. Tasted at the Oklahoma Beer tasting March 06 hosted by mjames and lilannie. 240306
