Good yellow flecked off-white head and very hazy. Aroma has plenty of light raspberries in it, a huge dose of yeast and some drier malt. Flavor immediately is moderately astringent stemming from a dry fruit flavor (blueberries, raspberries, cherries). The yeast makes a big appearance and as the beer begins to finish, a candi-like sugar flavor makes an entrance. Very interesting beer. It starts out dry and waxes sweet. Very yeasty, doughy finish. Body is only medium, touch of wateriness. Some earthy/root-like spiciness in there as well. Bizarre, it certainly is. Take away the overly astringent flavors and I'd be sold. Aroma is malty with tones of alcohol, berries and doughieness. Quite malty with strong tones of raspberry and a light doughieness. Too sweet or it could be very good.
