The taste was surprisingly unusual, light, and enjoyable. A bit of plum, a bit of spice. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA

Small whitish head. Starts real sweet, with big underlying malt flavor. Caramel/toffe-ish, dark fruit, fig, plum, chocolate covered cherry. Medium to full bodied, finising with a yeasty whack, and a wallop of alcohol. Alcohol is real evident, but this is still a very well made, terribly drinkable brew. Nice warm malts, but not what I expected out of a Belgain Strong. Not too bad, but not amazing. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
