Aromas and tastes of roast, I swear oysters (or did Eric plant that in my head), buttered oysters at that and topped with popcorn. There was something off with the aroma and taste. I’m curious to see if my bottles are the same.
Tasted from bottle on 11/10. Didn’t taste much better from the bottle. This is one that you will either really like or not. Some of the other guys at the tasting really enjoyed it while others didn’t. Keeping my numbers the same. KidA (19), Morristown, New Jersey, USA

Easy drinking with wheat and roast flavors prominent. Very good beer that I would love to have again. freekyp (901), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2006 Earthy malt nose with a hint of smoke. Dark brown, but not black, topped with a sticky tan head. Nice lacing. Medium bodied and flavorful, but didn’t strike me as being that close to style. Nonetheless a solid brew.
